UPDATED: St. Clair Township accident victim a 35 year-old Petrolia man

Lambton OPP are investigating after a large sedan left Petrolia Line near Wabano Road and flipped in the ditch.

Around 2 am, Lambton OPP, Lambton Emergency Services and St. Clair Fire Department attended a single motor vehicle collision on Petrolia Line, east of Waubano Road. 

Police say the initial investigation has revealed that the vehicle was travelling eastbound on Petrolia Line, when the driver lost control and struck the ditch.

Adam MORNINGSTAR, 35,of Petrolia, was transported to the local hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

Petrolia Line between Waubano Road and Telfer Road were closed for several hours as the investigation continued. All roads have now been reopened.

    Why is this picture posted. This is absolutely devastating to a whole community if people. Too the person that found the accident inadvertently dark road alone. Have soem.compassion for the family and a HUGE GROUP OF PETROLIA GREVING. One day when you arrive to get that picture and its your loved one… are you posting that picture too????
