Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a Cold Weather Alert for Lambton County – the eighth this year. The current temperature of -16°C this morning initiated the alert. The main concern over the next few days is the nighttime temperature on Thursday night which is expected to drop to -23°C. The cold weather alert will remain in effect until Friday

A number of family friendly activities are planned including a snow sculpture contest according to Petrolia’s marketing manager, Laurissa Ellsworth.
