Close calls in Petrolia during wicked storm

There were a number of close calls but no known injuries after a wicked storm ripped through Petrolia Wednesday night. Around 7:20 pm, a rainstorm with high winds blew into the area toppling trees and knocking out power. Enniskillen man arrested in Oil Springs assault and break in

Lambton OPP have charged a 23-year-old man after an 88-year old Oil Springs woman was assaulted in her home. Early Sunday morning, police were called to the home on Oil Springs Line after a break and enter occurred.
