Police search for witness after pedestrian killed on Walpole Island First Nation
No injuries in Petrolia Line fire

No one was injured in a house fire in Brooke-Alvinston.
Around 10 pm Wednesday, relatives of the homeowner on Petrolia Line between Little Ireland and Walnut Road called in the fire. Firefighters from Brooke, Watford and Petrolia/North Enniskillen departments responded.
There is heavy damage to the front of the home, however the homeowner was able to remove some belongings.
Neighbours say the homeowner had just pulled into the driveway of the house as the fire department arrived.
