Former Courtright haunt of Al Capone being demolished
Highway 40 accident claims one life

Lambton OPP say an accident on Highway 40 Friday claimed a life.
The road was blocked off between Oil Springs Line and Bickford Line for eight hours investigating the collision between a passenger vehicle and a transport truck. The roads were wet at the time of the accident and the crash occurred just north of a bend in Highway 40.
OPP and paramedics arrived at the accident around 9 am and one of the drivers was pronouced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Police released information about the crash Tuesday and say the driver’s name won’t be released and no charges have been laid at this time.
