Starting today, you can receive a flu shot and the most recent COVID-19 vaccine.
The province is making the vaccines available at public health units, primary health care provides and some pharmacies starting today. The new COVID-19 vaccine is specifically designed to target the XBB variant and was approved by Health Canada earlier this fall.
You can receive the next COVID-19 dose if it has been six months since your last vaccine or COVID-19 infection.

Meantime, Lambton Public Health has switched up its reporting of the COVID-19 virus. It has launched the Seasonal Infectious Diseases Bulletin providing weekly updates on respiratory and enteric disease activity, including COVID-19 and influenza, along with
“We recognize that there is an overwhelming amount of information online about respiratory virus activity. In response, our aim is to offer Lambton County residents a singular, dependable resource for local data on respiratory and enteric virus activity,” said Epidemiologist Siobhan Churchill in a news release.
