Mooretown pool, fitness centre won’t reopen in September
Heck to chair Catholic board for seventh year

John Van Heck and David Argenti will continue in their roles on the St. Clair Catholic
Board of Trustees after they were both acclaimed at the Dec. 5 meeting.
Van Heck has held the position of board chair since 2016, while this will be Argenti
second straight year as vice chair.
“We do excellent work in our Catholic school system on behalf of students and
families,” said Van Heck. “Among the most important things we do, in addition to
excellent programs and learning opportunities, is leading our students to be
followers of Christ. I am thankful everyday for Catholic education.”
The chair and vice chair are elected among the trustees annually. The term for both
positions will expire in December 2024.
