October 2, 2015
Three men from the London area are facing drug charges after police stopped a car on Discovery Line.
Lambton OPP say they saw a car violate traffic laws and as an officer was following the car, he could smell a strong odour he suspected of marijuana coming from the car.
Police stopped the care and found 27, freshly harvested marijuana plants in the car.
One of the three people in the car tried to bolt but police arrested him quickly.
A 38 year-old Londoner is facing a number of drug charges and resisting arrest. A 36 year old man from London faces drug charges and having an open container of liquor in the car. An 41 year old Adelaide-Metcalfe man faces a charge of possession of drugs.
They’re all to appear in court Nov. 18.
