Petrolia/North Enniskillen firefighters are trying to figure out what caused an SUV to burst into flames.

Around 9:15 Friday morning, Greenfield St. neighbours reported hearing a pop and went outside to find the vehicle engulfed in flames. The heat was so intense some of the siding of the home melted.

It’s not clear yet what might have started the fire.

No one was in the vehicle at the time.
