Two Ontario men face charges after alleged immigration fraud at Lambton College

Backhoe accident leads to impair charges in Plympton-Wyoming

An 83 year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after a backhoe fell into a ditch.
Lambton OPP were called to an accident on Michigan Line in Plympton-Wyoming Sunday around 7 pm. They found a backhoe had fallen off a laneway culvert into a deep ditch. Police pulled the driver from the overturned cab. It became apparent the driver had consumed alcohol.
The driver was given a roadside test and arrested on two impaired driving charges.
An 83 year-old man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
He’ll be in court March 7.
