Winter storm watch in effect for:
- Sarnia – Petrolia – Western Lambton County
- Watford – Pinery Park – Eastern Lambton County
Winter storm possible for Wednesday through Friday.
Hazards:
Snow, heavy at times.
Total snowfall accumulations of 20 to 30 cm expected by Friday.
Winds gusting 50 to 70 km/h.
Reduced visibilities due to heavy snow and local blowing snow.
Timing:
Wednesday morning through Friday morning.
Discussion:
Rain showers tonight will transition to snow by Wednesday afternoon. Snow is expected to taper by Friday.
Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.

Warwick hosts business event The head of the Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce wants to make sure rural businesses don’t feel forgotten. The Chamber rolled into Watford Thursday evening for a mixer, hoping to bring Sarnia business people to the Warwick Township community to see what they have on offer.
