Cattlebarons in the OBA Senior AA semi final

The Wyoming Cattlebarons are heading to the semi finals of the Ontario Baseball Association Senior AA finals.

The host team beat the reigning champions from Kincardine 4-2 in nine innings in front of a hometown crowd which circled the diamond for the 8pm game Saturday.

Wyoming has yet to lose at the double knockout tournament even with a loss at 10 am, Wyoming still has a shot at being in the 4 pm finals Sunday.

Sunday’s semi final game against New Lowell is at 10 am at Canton Park in Wyoming. The other semi-final will be played in Petrolia at 10am.

Pinsonneault spends $126K on winning MPP race

Heather Wright/The Independent Steve Pinsonneault spent over $126,000 in his winning bid to become the MPP for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex. Those figures come from Elections Ontario, which recently posted the campaign finance statements for both the Lambton-Kent-Middlesex and Milton by-elections held May 2.
