Firefighters to be demoted for missing live fire training
Construction planned at CEE Monday
October 18, 2013
If you’re heading to Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital in Petrolia next week, you’re likely to run into some construction.
Starting Monday, there will be construction workers will be repairing the cement steps of the emergency department. Officials say there is no impact to ambulance access but everyone will have to use the ramp to get in.
Bluewater Health is asking non-emergent patients to use Dufferin Street to enter. Volunteers will be there to help people through the construction at the Emergency Department.
On Wednesday and Thursday cement work will be done at the continuing care building so there will be no access to the building from Blanche Street. Hospital officials ask visitors to use the Emergency Department entrance while the construction is underway. Volunteers will also be available to help people find their way from the emergency department to continuing care.
