The Petrolia Midget B’s congratulate each other during an early win during the Silver Stick tournament in Sarnia. The Oiler’s claimed the title beating Milverton 4-1 this afternoon.
The Petrolia Midget B Oilers have claimed Silver Stick glory in Sarnia.
The girls, who have had an outstanding season with a regular season record of 28-3-2, convincingly defeated Milverton 4-1 Sunday afternoon at the Clearwater Arena.
The Oilers had a round robin record at Silver Stick of 2-1. They beat Milverton 1-0 in the quarter finals, then Petrolia gained a birth into the final with a 1-0 win over Lambeth this morning. Milverton – a wild card team – defeated Grey Highlands 3-2 to earn its place in the final game.
The Oilers proved to be too much for Milverton with a 4-1 win in the final.
