Pinsonneault ‘disappointed’ Ford government reneges of promise of EA for Dresden dump

Here comes the cold – again
February 26, 2014
Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health has issued a Cold Weather Alert for Lambton County – the eighth this year.
The current temperature of -16°C this morning initiated the alert.
The main concern over the next few days is the nighttime temperature on Thursday night which is expected to drop to -23°C. The cold weather alert will remain in effect until Friday when temperatures are expected to climb above the alert threshold.
Residents should take precautions during a Cold Weather Alert by dressing in layers, shielding exposed areas from the wind such as head, neck and face, and limiting time spent outdoors.
Lambton Public Health advises local agencies that provide shelter and assistance to homeless people to prepare for an increase in demand during this Cold Weather Alert.
