While Plympton-Wyoming Mayor Lonny Napper was honouring people in the community who went above and beyond, he received a gift as well. WAIT PW spokesperson Ingrid Willemsen presented Napper with a delft blue wind turbine saying she hoped “it is the only turbine in Plympton-Wyoming.” Willemsen says Napper and council have been instrumental in the fight to stop Suncor Energy from building 42 turbines in the community.
