The Church Basement Ladies were back; up to their old antics as A Second Helping kicked off the summer theatre season in Petrolia. The opening show Tuesday was sold out and officials say there are very few tickets left for the run of the popular series. Victoria Playhouse Petrolia will bring about 30,000 visitors to town this summer. Sales for the balance of the season are going well, with the VPP adding three extra shows to the nearly sold out I Love a Piano.
