Twenty years of ‘bringing joy’ and a some jingle to merchants
Celebrating 150 Years with Oil Springs
July 14, 2015
The Independent Staff is pleased to help the Village of Oil Springs celebrate its 150th Birthday. This week in The Independent is a special, pull-out section called Then & Now. There are all kinds of wonderful pictures of the beginnings of the municipality and the oil industry which was so instrumental in its growth. We hope you will enjoy reading it as much as we have enjoyed producing this keepsake for the community. A special thanks to the Oil Museum of Canada, Jack Webster and Author Gary May for their generous contributions to the project.
