Scooter driver charged with drug possession in Brooke-Alvinston

A St. Clair Township man is facing drug charges after police stopped a man on scooter in Brooke-Alvinston.
Police say they stopped a man on Nauvoo Road around 7:40 Thursday night and suspected him of drinking while driving. The driver took a roadside breath test. Police also found 466.5 grams of marijuana.
24 year-old Derek Cail of St. Clair has been given a three day driving suspension and has been charged with possession of marijuana. He’ll appear in court in September.
