Petrolia is home to another Silver Stick Regional Champion.

The Bantam Reps beat the Mooretown Jr. Flags 3-1 at the Roy Caley Regional Silver Stick in Watford Sunday.

The score was tied at one heading into the third when the Oilers pulled ahead scoring with over 7 minutes to play. The Flags pulled their goalie in the dying minutes to try to tie the game, but the Oilers hit the empty net sealing the win.

Saturday – at a jammed packed Greenwood Recreation Centre – the Midget Reps beat the Mooretown Jr. Flags 3-2 to claim the Earl Trevail Regional Tournament.

Both the Bantams and the Midgets play in Forest in the North American Silver Stick Tournament. The Midgets begin play Jan. 8; the Bantams begin Jan. 22.
