Oilers and Flags bow out of Silver Stick semi-finals

The Petrolia Oiler Midget Reps and the Mooretown Jr. Flag Midgets have been bounced from the International Silver Stick finals.
The Oilers took on Ennismore Saturday afternoon in the semi-finals loosing 5-0.
Meantime, Mooretown lost to Tavistock 2-1 in the other semi final.
Tavistock and Ennismore meet in the Bantam Final in Forest tomorrow at 12:30 pm.
Meantime the Dresden Jr. Kings are in the semi-finals of the Midget C tournament at 9:30 in Forest Sunday.

Driver dies in crash at Highway 40 and Courtright Line

A London driver is dead after an accident in St. Clair Township. Just before 5 pm Thursday, the OPP, St. Clair Township firefighters and paramedics were called to Highway 40 and Courtright Line after a minivan and car collided. A 51 year-old from London was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
