Petrolia PeeWee Tri County wins International Silver Stick in Pelham

The Petrolia Oilers PeeWee Tri County team is the North American Silver Stick Champion in their age group.
The team travelled to Pelham – near St. Catherines – this weekend for the tournament.
The Oilers started with a 5-4 win over Richmond Hill area team Noble Hill.
The team then dropped two games, 5-4 to North Middlesex and 7-3 to Tavistock. But the Oilers record was good enough to get into the semi-finals. They dominated Waterloo-area teamTwin Centre – winning 7-2 and then blanked the home team Pelham Panthers 2-0 in the final for the win.
