LCCVI’S ROMBOUTS QUALIFIES FOR PROVINCIAL HIGH SCHOOL GOLF FINAL
Petrolia teen names Ontario Junior Citizen
January 21, 2016
Matt Mueller is being honoured as one of 12 Junior Citizens in Ontario.
The Petrolia teen was nominated by Town Councillor Mary Pat Gleeson after he raised over $20,000 to revive the community’s tennis courts. His fundraising drive caught the attention of Canada’s top ranked tennis player Milos Raonic. The nomination to the Ontario Community Newspaper Association award was supported by The Independent of Petrolia and Central Lambton.
Mueller, seen here being congratulated by students from the kindergarten class at Lambton Cenntennial, will be honoured in Toronto in March. Watch for the full details in the January 28th edition of The Independent.
