If you need a book for the weekend, you might want to do that soon. The Petrolia Library is going to be closed on May 14 and 15 for maintainence.

The 113-year old former railway station will be getting a new water meter, some plumbing repairs and the carpet will be replaceds

Town officials say the extra day to make sure the dust from the flooring renovation and the adhesive from the carpet has time to set.

The building will reopen May 16.
