Blaze rips through Oil Springs home

Firefighters from are fighting a house fire on Oil Springs Line between Duryee and Sherrif Streets.
Around 2 this afternoon the Oil Springs/South Enniskillen Department got the call to the two story home. The owner was not at home and neighbours had already got the family dog out of the garage when firefighters arrived.
The Petrolia/North Enniskillen department was also called in to help. Firefighters helped put out the stubborn blaze in the roof using the tele squirt device.
At 3pm, firefighters, the OPP and paramedics were still on the street and Oil Springs Line is blocked off to traffic.
