Adelaide-Metcalfe man charged after teen found lying on Lasalle

A 47-year-old man is facing charges after a teen was severely injured on Lasalle Line.
Mitchell Rops, 18, was found lying in the middle of Lasalle Line around 4:30 am Aug. 6 with serious injuries. He was taken to the hospital and remains there, although OPP say he is expected to recover from his injuries.
Police have now charged 47 year-old Michael Sanders of nearby Adelaide Metcalfe with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm He’ll be in court in October. Sources tell The Independent there was a large stag and doe in the area at the time of the accident and the teen had been a passenger on an ATV.
