Long-time St. Clair councillor passes
Squires Turkey Night Friday

The tradition of Turkey Night with the Petrolia Squires continues Friday when Huron East provides the Western Ontario Athletic Association Senior Hockey opposition at the Greenwood Recreation Centre. Game time is 8:30 pm.
Petrolia is tied for fourth place in the 13-team circuit with a record of 7-8.
The Squires fell below the .500 mark with a 7-4 loss in Clinton last weekend.
Petrolia jumped out to a 3-0 first period lead and had a 4-3 advantage through 40 minutes of action only to see the home team register four unanswered third period tallies. Clinton is perfect at 11-0.
Brent Sauve and Thomas Moxley each had a goal and an assist for the Squires, with Dan Veenema and Shawn Waldie adding the others. Paul Thompson contributed a pair of assists.
Sean Parker took the loss making 29 saves.
