Driver in fatal Oil Springs crash facing nine charges

Lambton OPP have laid charges in the death of three St. Clair College students south of Oil Springs.
On Oct. 4, a sedan carrying four people left Oil Heritage Road, just south of Gumbed Line, as it headed into a curve. Three people from India, Harpreet Kour, 19, Gurvinder Singh, 19, Tanveer Singh, 19, who were in Windsor to attend St. Clair College, died when they were thrown from the vehicle.
Police have said none were wearing seat belts.
The driver walked away from the crash and now faces a number of charges including dangerous operation causing death, dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm, criminal negligence causing death, criminal negligence causing bodily harm and obstructing a peace officer.
Jovanpreet Singh, 22, of Windsor is scheduled to appear in court today.
