Fire officials urge caution in wheat fields during extreme heat

Two Central Lambton residents charged with meth possession

Two Central Lambton residents are facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Dawn-Euphemia.
Lambton OPP stopped a car on Edys Mill Line Wednesday after noticing the driver, who was wanted by police.
Two people were in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for the outstanding warrant. Police found methamphetamine in the car. The passenger was then arrested.
Jacob Tessier, 27, of Oil Springs has been charged on the outstanding police warrant and with possession of a controlled drug and Ericka Jackson, 22, of Warwick Township has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and failure to comply with bail conditions.
Both were held in police custody until their bail hearing.
