Bluewater Health gets extra $2 million plus a year from province
June 10, 2020
Bluewater Health is getting an extra $2 million a year to run the hospital.
The province committed to increase hospital funding by $935 million in the next two years. Bluewater Health will receive $2.1 million for 2019-2020 and $2.4 million more for 2020-2021.
Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey says COVID-19 related funding is not included in today’s announcement, as hospitals will track and report expenses related to COVID-19 separately.
