LCCVI celebrates the Class of 2026

Armed robbery at Petrolia variety store

Lambton OPP are investigating the armed robbery of a 24-hour variety store in Petrolia’s downtown.
Around 5:30 this morning, OPP were called to Circle K for a robbery. Police say a man walked into the store “brandishing a weapons” which sources say was a gun. The thief took lottery tickets and cash.
He then fled the scene.
Members of the OPP, the Tactical Unit and the Canine Unit were on scene and could be seen in the surrounding neighbourhoods looking for clues and the suspect.
It’s not clear if the suspect is still at large.
