Forest Kiwanis hope a mandarin, apple and cucumber can raise some cash for Kineto

Petrolia remembers
November 11, 2020
It was a shortened, private ceremony in Petrolia’s Victoria Park as the nation paused at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to remember those who sacrificed their lives for freedom.
Branch 216 invited just 25 guests – the most people allowed at an outdoor gathering under pandemic restrictions – to the simplified ceremonies.
Representatives from all levels of government laid a wreath at the cenotaph and the Act of Remembrance was completed while more than 100 people, standing in family groups well distanced from others, watched on from the edges of Victoria Park.
