The Independent A senior has died after a vehicle ended up in the St. Clair River. Just before 3:30 pm, Walpole Island Police were called to River Road along with Lambton OPP, the Walpole Island Fire Department, paramedics, the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre for the a report of a vehicle in the river.

Currently, the town charges developers $10,881 for each single-family home built in the municipality.
