Impaired charges laid in afternoon crash near Port Franks
Skaters in Petrolia now must pre register
November 30, 2020
If you are thinking about taking in one of the three skating programs at the Greenwood Recreation Centre, you will have to register before you go.
Petrolia opened its arena to a couple of public skating programs, Moms, Pops and Tots, Adult Skate and Learn to Play when the arena reopened under the new COVID-19 pandemic protocols.
Monday, Lambton County entered the province’s Protect or Yellow category which means the arena has to take more precautions than it has.
Starting today, everyone has to pre register to be involved. Skaters are asked to email [email protected] with the date you plan to go. Officials say you will not receive a reply unless the capacity has been reached or the event is canceled.
The town is still not offering its popular Sunday Free Skate yet.
