Teens to clean up their “artistic touches” on Petrolia buildings
January 7, 2021
Two teens who Lambton OPP caught in the act will be doing a little manual labour to make amends for their actions.
OPP were called to Petrolia Jan.5 around 9:30 pm by a resident who saw two people adding graffiti to street signs, buildings and structures in the town.
Police went to the area, found the youths with spray paint cans in hand. The pair showed police multiple spots where police say they had “added their artistic touch.”
The officers took the pair home and worked out a plan for the two to clean and replace the properties they had defaced.
No charges have been laid at this time.
