Three stabbed, shots fired in Walpole Island fight

Lambton OPP have arrested a Chatham teen after a fight on Walpole Island left three people with stab wounds.
We’re just learning now about the New Year’s Day fight on Austin Road. Police were called to the First Nation around 1:30 am. Police say a fight broke out and three people were stabbed. Officials say the victims were transported to hospital with “minor injuries.”
A teen fled the scene and went to a neighbouring home. Someone followed him in and fired a shot. The teen fled.
A 16 year-old Chatham teen has been arrested and charged with three counts of assault with a weapon and breaching bail conditions.
