Lambton back to double digit COVID-19 case counts

Lambton Public Health is reporting 48 more people tested positive for COVID-19.
Friday’s results show a total of 1,138 people have contracted the virus since the start of the pandemic. Officials says 221 are actively ill – that’s down 10. Another 58 people have recovered.
Meantime Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey has sent the premier a letter asking the date to bring the vaccine for COVID-19 to the area be moved up.
Lambton has one of the highest rates of COVID-19 in the province however its unlikely health care workers and residents of long term care will see the vaccine before the end of January.
