Another death in Lambton linked to COVID-19

Lambton Public Health is reporting another death in the community linked to COVID-19.
Official data released this morning shows 47 people have now passed away with the virus. There are no details yet about the death.
There were another 22 cases of COVID-19 registered today in Lambton with 175 people ill now. Twenty-one more recovered.
Lambton’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Sudit Ranade, says 28 variants of concern have been found circulating in the region so far – that’s up dramatically from a week ago.
There are still 10 outbreaks being monitored in Lambton.
The vaccination of elderly residents continues with Ranade saying close to 11,000 shots in arms.
