Wranglers win second straight silver at ORSA provincials

Sydenham River race cancelled for second year
April 12, 2021
The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority has cancelled the Sydenham River Canoe and Kayak Race for another year.
The 2021 edition was supposed to be held April 28.
Melissa Levi, Conservation Education Coordinator, says “holding the race would not comply with the Ontario government’s emergency stay-at-home orders.”
“It’s unfortunate that we are unable to hold the race this year, especially when we are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the SCRCA,” says Levi.
The race is organized annually as a fundraiser to support SCRCA conservation education programs and draws between 80 and 100 participants.
The SCRCA hopes the race will return in 2022.
