Callers lead OPP to high driver in Wyoming

A string of concerned citizens led the OPP to a stoned driver in Wyoming.

Lambton OPP received multiple calls Saturday about an erratic driver coming off the 402 at the Oil Heritage Road exit.

Officer found the vehicle, southbound, heading toward Wyoming.

When they tried to stop the vehicle, it nearly hit the cruiser.

Police say the driver was “displaying signs of impairment.” He was arrested and taken to the OPP detachment for a drug recognition evaluation.

A 40 year-old man from London has been charged with operation while impaired and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
