May 6, 2021
A 50 year old Walpole Island woman is facing drug and firearm charges after a traffic stop in Corunna.
Lambton OPP were called to Hill Street by a number of people just before 6 am Monday who said there was an erratic driver on the street.
Police found the vehicle and stopped it. Police observed a syringe with a blue liquid on the floor at the driver’s feet. Police believe it was fentanyl.
The driver was arrested and a further search found a small quantity of methamphetamine and a .17 calibre long gun with several rounds of ammunition.
Barbara Pinnance, 50, faces seven charges including drug possession, careless storage of a firearm, and driving while under suspension.
She was released and will appear in court later.
