Plympton-Wyoming gets $143k for recreation renos

Plympton-Wyoming is getting almost $143,000 for renovations to community spaces.
The money was announced by the federal and provincial governments as part of the recreation infrastructure grants.
Plympton-Wyoming will use the money to upgrade washrooms including installing an access ramp, replacing the existing roof on the Camlachie Community Centre, installing and expanding an accessible parking area and walkways for the Camlachie Library and Museum building. Overall accessibility to the building will be improved.
Sarnia was the big winner in the grant giveaway receiving over $2.1 million to renovate Jackson Pool and the Strangway Centre. The Y in Sarnia is also receiving $1.4 million for renovations.
