A Sarnia woman is facing charges after police stopped her for racing.
Wednesday, the OPP saw a vehicle on Lasalle Line near Marthaville Road driving more than 100 km/h in a 60 km/h.
The officer stopped the car and when he told the woman her vehicle was going to be impounded because she was being charged with racing, the driver tried to flee.
Officers took her into custody.
The 24 year-old is charged with racing and obstructing a peace officer. She’s also lost her licence for seven days.
