One charged in Petrolia stabbing

A 20 year-old Petrolia man is facing a charge of assault after a stabbing at a Halloween party.
A young man was hosting a party at his parents Grove Street home on Halloween when some people arrived. The host asked them to leave and was leading them back to the car when he was stabbed a number of times.
The unwanted guests left.
The host spent time in a London hospital recovering from his injuries.
Today, Lambton OPP SAY Justin Porteous has been charged with assault.
