Two senior hockey games cancelled due to COVID Friday
December 10, 2021
Two hockey games have been cancelled in Lambton County because of COVID-19.
Both the Petrolia Squires and the Alvinston Killer Bees had tilts scheduled for this evening.
In Petrolia, the Squires said Mapleton had to call off the home-and-home series because team members tested positive for the virus. Tonight was to be the Squire’s annual Turkey Night at the Greenwood Recreation Centre. It’s been postponed to Dec. 17.
And Alvinston’s game against the Strathroy Jets has also been cancelled tonight because one of the Jet’s tested COVID-19 positive.
