December 12, 2021
There was music, laughter and lots of Christmas characters at the Alvinston Optimists hosted a Christmas celebration which covered the entire community.
There were eight bands playing throughout town and dozens of floats scattered along the route handing out candy to all. One company said they had made 800 bags of candy which were long gone.
Of course Santa was waiting for the long line of cars at the end of the route to wish all a Merry Christmas.
The club also hosted a drive thru dinner, which sold 700 meals.
Here’s a look at some of the action.
