Driver found on Nauvoo lawn charged with impaired

Someone got slightly off course.
Lambton OPP were called to a home on Nauvoo Road Dec. 10 after a homeowner found a car in the front lawn.
Officers spoke to the driver when they arrived at 4:45 am and it appeared he’d been drinking.
The driver was arrested and brought to the detachment for a breathalyzer test.
Meetkumar Patel, 22, of Goderich has been charged with two counts of impaired driving.
He’ll be in court Feb. 14.

Yarko Zelecnhuk won the boys’ singles banner at the LKSSAA north division tennis tournament this week. The LCCVI student will now advance to the overall LK championship tournament next Tuesday in Chatham.
