Plympton-Wyoming’s fire chief says the cause of a blaze which leveled a large shed on Stewardson Line is unknown.
Firefighters were called to the rural area Friday morning and found a large shed on fire. Warwick and Watford crews were called in to help run water with their tankers to the location. “This shuttle proved very effective as the crews from each service worked very well together,” says Chief Darryl Thompson.
Firefighters worked from the outside to put out the fire, since the roof was compromised. A excavator was brought in to make sure the fire was extinquished.
Thompson says the cause of the fire isn’t know and there was less than $500,000 damage done.
