Traffic diverted from 402: two dozen vehicles parked at Forest Road exit
February 9, 2022
About two dozen vehicles – tractors, pickups and three large CAT trucks – are parked on the westbound 402 at the Forest exit
Three police cars are lined up in front of them and access to the westbound 402 has been restricted from Nauvoo Road. Truck traffic is moving over the Bluewater Bridge at 11:50 am Wednesday.
While police have closed off the highway it appears protestors are using an access road on private property to come and go.
Their movements are being closely monitored by a helicopter flying up and down the highway.
The protestors at Forest Road are blocking the highway in support of truck drivers who have parked rigs at Parliament Hill for the last 13 days demanding all COVID 19 protocols be dropped.
