Flyers’ Jaques on fire heading into playoffs

Andrew Jaques scored a natural hat trick including the equalizer with just seconds remaining in regulation time to lead the Petrolia Flyers to a 4-4 tie with Lakeshore.
The game was rescheduled from a game postponed last month due to inclement weather.
Jack McAlpine had the other Petrolia goal and Tyler Richardson made 34 stops in the Flyer goal.
Jaques has ten goals in ten games since the restart of the season in early February. He and the Flyers head to Essex tomorrow night to open the PJHL Stobbs Division playoffs Petrolia and the 73’s have met in the first round of the postseason in four of the past five seasons.
